- I've had this "DOOM" preview since the day it was released and guess what
- I noticed then -- the room graphics are ripped from the game "Death
- Bringer" from Spotlight Software/Cinemaware.
-
- There are better "DOOM" like parts in demos. The best I've seen was done
- by Antic in the demo Dein Zycrex (spelling is probably wrong). They used
- FLI to come up with the "textured" walls feeling, its very nicely done.
-
- At one time we had plans to do a "miniDOOM 64" with the coding help
- of Mr Sex/Byterapers, but Tatu decided that it would be too hard even for
- his excellent coding abilities.
-
- I'd like to see a preview from anybody working on a DOOM-a-like for the
- C64, we might like it enough to offer a contract. I think the best
- versions will come after the Super64 and Super128 speedups come out.
